Closing Force Measurement Instrument BlueForce Smart - Force Gauge

BlueForce Smart - instrument for automatic doors and gates

BlueForce Smart is a new revolutionary force gauge for CE certification of automatic closures according to EN 12453, (formerly EN12445), EN16005, EN60335 standards.

BlueForce Smart represents the evolution of the popular BlueForce and SpeedForce devices and is now new in terms of design, package and technology. Thanks to the latest wireless technology, the device can connect to the latest generation of PCs and smartphones, taking advantage of their graphic features and connection to the Internet.

Software BlueForce:

The powerful BlueForce software that comes with the meter can be easily used by anyone
who has a normal knowledge of Microsoft Windows®.

features
Guide for carrying out the force tests based on the regulations in force
Graphic representation of the measurement points for all types of gates and pedestrian doors provided for by the regulations
Downloading tests from the meter's memory via USB cable or Bluetooth and using the dedicated USB adapter (optional)
Display of the measurement curves with calculation of the parameters and mean values
Advanced graphic functions (zoom, limit value mask, grid)
Automatic indication of the result of the measurements (test passed / failed)
Management of customer database, doors/gates with import/export functions
Automatic generation of the test report that is attached to the technical file
Reports and graphs can be printed in PDF format
Management of firmware updates for gauges via USB (only for BlueForce Smart)
Regular free online updates
Features of BlueForce Smart:
The force measurements stored and visualized with the BlueForce Smart can be transferred to the BlueForce software through the provided USB cable (1), or transferred wirelessly (with the Plug'n Go! accessory) (2).

(3) With the BlueForce software, the tests carried out can be saved in the customer database and the reports can be printed out with the corresponding graphics.

(4) With the smart functions, it is possible to best use the Bluetooth/NFC technology built into the device; With the associated app you can send the force measurements made directly to the mobile devices.

(5) With the Bluetooth FTP thermal printer, the technician can print the ticket and the measurement results directly at his place without using the PC.

The BlueForce Smart can, thanks to its hardware (Bluetooth LE 4.1 ed NFC Forum Type 4), with the most modern
Smartphone and tablet communicate.

The BlueForce Smart can use the current software platforms Apple,
Android, send NFC.

Smart Function - Smart APP

The Smart function allows the Bluetooth/NFC integrated hardware to send the saved measurements to the mobile devices with the specific BlueForce Smart App.

If your devices do not already have the smart functions activated, it is possible to activate them by requesting them online here.

NB Before activating the smart function, please check that your mobile device respects the following requirements:
Apple iOS from 9.0
Android like this from 5.0

Smart Android app
For Android devices, the BlueForce Smart app, which is available in the Play Store, must be installed. With Bluetooth activated, the tests carried out can then be displayed with the corresponding graphics and parameters.
Smart Apple app
For devices with iOS Apple, the BlueForce Smart app, available in the Apple Store, must be installed. With Bluetooth activated, the tests carried out can then be displayed with the corresponding graphics and parameters.
NFC BlueForce
For devices with integrated NFC: by placing the smartphone on the back of the BlueForce Smart device, you can see the tests performed with the corresponding graphs and parameters.
APP Smart - Usage

After you have sent the desired measurement with the BlueForce Smart to the smartphone or tablet device, the main page with the technical data of the sent measurements is shown.
After that it is possible to choose the type of closing devices and the distances of the measuring points. Each typology of locking devices is represented graphically according to the EN 12445 standard.

APP Smart - Functions

Number of exam sent and corresponding date/time
Change the language of the app
Type of gate measured and corresponding data of the measurement points
Indication of the result of the TEST
Graphic of the measurement curve
Trace parameters
Date of calibration of the measuring device used
Serial number and firmware version of the measuring device used
Measurements on automatic gates and doors:
The EN 12445 standard stipulates that measurements on automatic gates and doors must be carried out at specific points and at specified intervals. CE marking and completing the technical documentation are also very important.
force measurements

This section deals with the force measurements that, according to the former European directive EN12453.
Specifically, the normative EN 12453 Quick Guide completes the procedures to be carried out to certify an automation, among which:

CE confirmation
compliance declaration
Technical Documentation
Security Ratings

Furthermore it is possible to download own PDF guides, useful for technicians to measure the closing force. In the guide there are the descriptions of the positions, the measuring distances, the evaluation scales and the values of the set limits.
